​Willa Mae “Honey” Rollins the second child of Minnie Lee Powers and John William Rollins was born on January 20, 1917, in Amarillo, Potter County, Texas. 

Willa married Austin Leon Street on February 2, 1936, in Sand Springs, Tulsa County, Oklahoma. 

​Willa and Austin had one son Leon Errol Street.

Willa’s obituary:
 “Willa Mae Street, known to family and friends as "Honey", 96 of Houston, Texas, passed from this life on January 12, 2014. Honey was born January 20, 1917, in Amarillo, Texas to parents, John W. Rollins and Minnie Powers Rollins. She is preceded in death by her parents and by her beloved husband, Austin Leon Street; and by two sisters, Rosemary and Johnnie Lee. She is survived by son, Errol Street & wife, Betty; sister, Dorothy Nell; and by grandchildren, Aaron & Kimberly Street; Elizabeth "Libby" Steele and Lara & Stephen Coronado; by great-grandchildren, Jason, Jeremy, Robby, Nicole, Leah, Brennen, Austin, Cameron and Dillon. Honey's family would like to express their sincere appreciation to her special caregivers, Deborah Williamson and Jennifer Trammel. Visitation and Services will be held Friday, January 17, 2014, at Carter Funeral Home with visitation starting at 12:00 Noon and Services starting at 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow in San Jacinto Memorial Park under the direction of Carter Funeral Home.”

            Willa Mae was born at Amarillo, Texas, January 20, 1917.  She married Austin Leon Street February 3, 1936, in Sand Springs, Oklahoma.  They have one son, Leon Errol Street born October 31, 1939, at Tulsa, Oklahoma.  They live in Houston, Texas.
            Leon retired from Armco Steel Corp. after 40 years of service.  Willa Mae worked in the P.T.A. and did church work, where she was president of both several times.
            Their son, Errol also worked at Armco, but it closed before he retired.  He now works at a golf course.  His wife, Betty, is a teacher and a tutor.
            Their grandchildren, Aaron and Kim, both do computer work at different companies. Elisabeth (Libby) is a nurse and does in-home nursing.  Lara is single and is a teacher.  She graduated from Sam Houston in Huntsville in 1994.  She teaches at Galena Park school system.
