Theodore’s Obituary:
Ted was the last born son of eight boys to Charles Gottlieb Rauch and Johanna (Nylander) Rauch. He was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma and lived on the family acerage the rest of his life. He married Evadene Adams, daughter of Ida Adams in Sand Springs, Oklahoma on January 21, 1943. He is survived by his wife of the home and six children: Nancy Cartledge and her husband Harold of Sand Springs, Linda Milligan and her husband Lester (Donnie) of Skiatook, Teddy C. Rauch of Tulsa, Oklahoma. Arlene Jobe and her husband Terry of Tulsa, and Sally Ann Rauch of Tulsa, Oklahoma, and Kathy (Rauch) Johnson.
Ted for many years was a painting contractor in Tulsa, Oklahoma and operated for many years a Christmas Tree lot at 21st & Delaware and in future years at various locations in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He and his brother Carl Rauch started a firewood business in the early 1960’s which later was Rauch Brothers Land Clearing and Tree Service, which he operated until his death in 1998.
He was preceded in death by his brothers Tommy Rauch and his wife Vera, Otto Von Rauch and his wife Abby, Carl Rauch, Bernie Rauch, Fred Rauch and George Rauch and his wife Van. He is survived by his brother John H. Rauch and his wife Elizabeth as well as his mother-in-law Ida Adams of Sand Springs, Oklahoma. He is also survived by his sister-in-law Martha Lee Rauch Tulsa, Oklahoma, wife of Fred Rauch as well as many nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Services were held on January 30, 1998, under the direction of Butler-Stumpff Funeral Home.
