Darlah ended her courageous battle with cancer on Tuesday, January 13, 2009.
She is survived by her two beautiful daughters, Janaih Merriweather and Amanda Christensen; granddaughter, Kamryn Merriweather; father, Dwayne (Bonnie) Farr; siblings, Don (Julie) Farr, Diana (Craig Brezniker, Kathy Pater and Juliana (Gary) Berringer; and many loved nieces and nephews.
She will be joining her son, Joshua Christensen; mother, Connie Spielman; and brother, Hank Farr; also her children's father, Scott Christensen.
Darlah was raised in Arlington, Washington where she started her family. She enjoyed many outdoor activities such as sunny days at the lake, fishing, gardening, collecting heart rocks and glass from the ocean, crabbing on the boat, jeeping and camping.
She had a contagious enthusiasm for life. She was compassionate, had a great sense of humor and an infectious smile. She had many friends and really cherished her loved ones. Darlah was dedicated to the principles and values she gained through her past five years in recovery. She considered the friends she made within the program as family.

Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m., on Saturday, January 17, 2009, at the Cascade Church, 14377 Fryelands Blvd SE, Monroe, WA 98272.
